2022 BASF Integrated Base (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. BASF Zhanjiang Integrated Base Project

The total investment is expected to reach 10 billion billion euros. Zhanjiang integrated base is the largest overseas investment project of BASF so far, and is independently constructed and operated by BASF. When completed, the base will become BASF's third largest integrated production base in the world, second only to Ludwigshafen in Germany and Antwerp in Belgium. The first units of the project will produce engineering plastics and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) to provide materials for automobiles, electronics and new energy vehicles. The first unit of Zhanjiang integrated base was officially put into operation on September 6, 2022. The entire integrated base is expected to be completed by 2030.
