The supporting project of the strategic cooperation framework agreement between Shaanxi Province and China Coal Group is also an important project for the construction of the Mongolia-Shaanxi base of China Coal Group. The 2 million-ton/year coal-to-methanol and 900000-ton/year polyolefin projects planned and constructed by the Chemical Branch of China Coal Shaanxi Company. The project uses coal as raw material to produce olefins using coal water slurry semi-waste boiler pressurized gasification, purification, methanol synthesis, methanol to olefins and other processes. The main project mainly includes coal water slurry semi-waste boiler pressurized gasification, transformation, low-temperature methanol washing, sulfur recovery, methanol synthesis, methanol to olefin (MTO), polyethylene, polypropylene, air separation and other units. Public and auxiliary works mainly include circulating water system, flare system, etc.
